Adventuring at Vanuatu's Mele Cascades.

We only had one full day in Vanuatu, and with Vanuatu being a collection of islands, we had to restrict ourselves to the island we were staying on, Efate. Efate is home to the capital 'city', Port Vila, a tiny little town made of concrete buildings. It's not especially pretty and there isn't much to do other than the markets, and so we chose to drive through it and on to the outer village of Mele, where the famous Mele Cascade waterfalls are located. We definitely made the right decision, and I've been so excited to tell you all about our adventure to the waterfalls!

A Dreamy Overwater Villa Stay at Warwick Le Lagon, Vanuatu.

The golf buggy whizzed along the narrow winding pathways flanked by villas and palm trees swaying in the night breeze. We arrived at our destination and, shrouded in the blackest of nights, gingerly stepped off the buggy, making sure to mind our step so we didn't trip over whatever may be laying on the ground. When we looked up we both audibly gasped in unison. In front of our very eyes were millions of stars sparkling in the sky, and the illuminating smudge of the strikingly magical Milky Way. We had arrived in paradise, Warwick Le Lagon in Vanuatu - a tiny Melanesian island in the South Pacific - and were already impressed despite being yet to see the place in the daylight.

My Favourite Sydney Restaurants That I'll Miss The Most.

Sydney's food scene is a weird one, there are some absolute gems, but also, like anywhere in the world, there's also a lot of crap...just perhaps more so than other major cities. I've slowly managed to work my way through dozens of restaurants over the past 18-months, and while I've written up full reviews for a lot of my favourites, this list are the ones I'm going to miss the most when I leave (but funnily enough I've only done full reviews for a couple of them)!

One Week Itinerary and Guide For Thailand: City & Jungle.

When I went to Thailand a couple of years ago I managed to pack a fair amount in to a short space of time. I often get friends and followers asking how I did so much in just one week, so I thought I'd write a post to tell you all how to do it! I personally didn't visit the beaches as I didn't have time, but if you'd rather skip Bangkok or Chiang Mai, you could easily do a beach trip instead of one of those.

My South Pacific Island Hopping Itinerary.

As you'll know if you read my recent post, I'm leaving Australia very soon. Before I head back to the Northern Hemisphere I wanted to tick off a few places in the Southern Hemisphere that are on my bucket list, with one of the main ones being a mini island-hop around the South Pacific! Next weekend Laura and I will be flying from Sydney to Vanuatu to begin our adventure. So, let me tell you all about it!

Where in Queensland You Should Visit & When.

Most of Australia is suitable to visit any time of year, but Queensland and the Northern part of Australia is a little different due to the tropical climate. It was only when I started working with in the Australian travel industry and visited Queensland for the first time last year, that I realised just how small the window is for visiting the state if you're wanting to visit to swim on the Great Barrier Reef. So after my two-week travel guide for Australia did so well, I thought I'd put together a handy little post with my tips for visiting Queensland and when in the year you should visit!
