It's been a while since I did an afternoon tea post, since I moved to Sydney I don't have them very often these days (hello, you can't have scones with no clotted cream!). When I was back in London over Christmas Shev and I headed to the luxurious and oh-so-trendy Sanderson Hotel in Fitzrovia to experience their Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea. I'm a huge fan of a whimsical afternoon tea, and their Alice in Wonderland themed one certainly didn't disappoint.

A December Round-Up: Home For Christmas.
The past few weeks have been a bit hectic with a lot going on in my personal life (bit of an understatement tbh), so apologies for this being a little late! I still have my Christmas in NYC posts to write too - so much to do, so little time, the main problem with having a full time job as well as a blog ;) If you were following my Instagram in December, you may have seen that I was home in the UK for Christmas! After last year's Aussie Christmas I was desperate for a cold 'real' Christmas, and so headed home via New York on my First Class Singapore Airline's flight that I bought using all my airmiles.

A Christmas Train Journey to Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir.
Last year I wasn't home for my Dad's birthday as I'd just moved to Australia, so this year I wanted to make sure I was home, and give him a really special day to make up for last year. Thanks to Belmond I gave him a day that incorporated two of his favourite things; trains, and food. We left London Victoria and went all the way to Oxford on the beautiful Belmond British Pullman. From there we then got a coach to Raymond Blanc's hotel and restaurant, Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons, where we dined on a three course feast and even met Raymond Blanc himself! So, let me tell you more...
