Otago Peninsula & Lanarch Castle, New Zealand.

On the breathtaking Otago Peninsula is the only castle in the whole of New Zealand, Lanarch Castle. Located within the city of Dunedin - the original Capital City of New Zealand, whose name comes from the Gaelic for Edinburgh - the Otago Peninsula is a haven for wildlife and an absolutely stunning drive on a sunny day. I was in Dunedin for four days visiting one of my closest friends from high school in England, and we did a couple of trips to the peninsula to explore, but you could easily do it all in a day trip.

Paddo's William Street Festival, Sydney.

I've been living in Paddington in Sydney for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it! It has a village-feel to it despite being a 30minute walk to the CBD, and it really feels like a community. There are adorable terrace-lined streets, luxury boutique shops everywhere, and family-run grocers and restaurants. Every year the street I live on, William Street, hosts the William Street Festival. It's a street festival that brings together the community with food stalls, live music, and the local shops and businesses have stalls and decorate their buildings.

Sydney's Night Noodle Markets 2017.

The past few weeks have seen a heady scent of smoked barbecue food wafting through the streets of Sydney's CBD. Every time I walked from the gym to the bus stop I would longingly stare at the crowds walking into the Night Noodle Markets in Sydney's Hyde Park, and then finally, finally, I got to be one of those members of the crowd.

One Day in Wellington, New Zealand's Capital.

When I was looking at flights to Dunedin in New Zealand, I discovered there were no direct flights from Sydney. And so I had to choose between a stopover in Wellington or Christchurch. If you've been reading here a while you'll already know my love for taking advantage of stopovers and checking out an extra city, and so with a friend from Sydney living in Wellington, that's the one I chose. And boy, did it live up to its name as Windy Wellington!

Exactly One Year On: Moving To Australia, Take Two.

A year ago today I landed in Australia. It had been a long hard road to getting back to Aus, and there was a lot on the line. When I'd left Perth almost eight years previously, I walked through immigration crying so hard the official asked me if I was OK, and I then proceeded to spend the entire 24 hour journey crying. I knew in my heart that I would do everything I could to get back, and over the years, despite everything, my goal was to make it happen. And I did it.

A Girl's Weekend in Melbourne - The House of Dior & Street Art.

When I went to Melbourne in January I went purely for the Australian Open finals, so I didn't get to really spend much time in the city itself. A couple of weekends ago I flew to Melbourne to join a couple of my friends from Perth there, as Anna moved there earlier this year and Caitlin was desperate to get out of Perth for a few days. After a slight hiccup with my flight being cancelled, I finally arrived for my weekend in Melbourne 24 hours later than originally planned, and the party got started!

Hotel Review: Sheraton Melbourne Hotel.

As you all already know, I'm a huge fan of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. I'm a Gold SPG member and have blogged before about a number of their properties, including W Hong Kong a few months ago. The last time I was in Melbourne I stayed at the Grand Hyatt, and was really disappointed by it, so I was keen to stick with a brand I know and trust this time around. Luckily we had the most incredible stay at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel, and it was honestly like no other Sheraton I've ever stayed at before! Rather than being business-focused, it was contemporary, trendy, and oh so chic. Let me tell you more...
