Luxy Dating App Review - I've Found All The Polite Men.

Today I have a rather different review for you all. You may remember how last month I told you all about the new luxury dating app, Luxy. The main reason I agreed to partner with them was because my nickname amongst close friends is Luxy (my surname is Lux), and found it hilarious that a dating app should share my name...but the second reason was because I was so intrigued about how it would work. So after a month of using it in London, Geneva, and New York, I finally feel as though I have a good understanding of the way it works.

A Candy Shop Afternoon Tea at Conrad St James.

As you already know from my recent Burger and Prosecco Afternoon Tea post, I'm on the hunt for the most fun afternoon teas in London! I'm so fed up with the same old boring ones, and well, I've found another goodun for you all. The 'Candy' afternoon tea at Emeline's Lounge inside Conrad St James, is so freaking delicious. And perfect for any of you who, like me, have a very sweet tooth.

I'm Going Home - Finally Moving Back to Australia.

So, I have some big news. After seven years back in the UK, I'm moving back to Australia. I was born and raised in the home counties of England, and Surrey will always be my home, but I think most of you know by now how in love I am with the place I lived for two years as a teenager. I've let out hints on the blog here and there, and some of you will already know, but I'm only allowed to properly 'announce' it now due to work. So let me tell you more...

Luxury in 24 Hours: Geneva, Switzerland.

Now, there isn't that much to do in Geneva. It's a financial shopping city that lives and breathes banking and luxury. But for two weeks every summer there's a little festival called Fete de Geneve. The whole city comes alive and it's basically two weeks of partying, food markets, fairground rides by the lake, and other various events alongside the famous Lake Geneva. I went to Geneva for one night (around 32 hours to be exact), right at the start of the festival a couple of Fridays ago (5th August), and had the most epic time!

Hotel Review: The Ambassador Suite at Le Richemond, Geneva.

I only had one night in Geneva. So I knew I had to choose the right hotel to really make my stay extra special. I was having a tough time deciding between the Mandarin Oriental and Le Richemond, but in the end decided to go for Le Richemond due to it's location overlooking Geneva's famous Jet d'Eau, and also because while I've stayed at a Mandarin Oriental in Paris previously, I'd never stayed at a Dorchester Collection hotel before, and was intrigued to see what it was like. This ended up being the best decision ever!

Dickie Fitz, Fitzrovia.

I've been wanting to visit Dickie Fitz since it first opened earlier this year, but various things got in the way and I only just made it down last week. To be completely honest I was a little disappointed by the menu to start with, but what I had was absolutely incredible and so tasty! It's an Australasian restaurant, with a menu focused on Asian and Australian dishes, and the pavlova was legit the best pavlova I've ever had in my life (even better than my ex-boyfriend's mum's, which is saying something - sorry Michelle)...

11 Reasons Why I Loved Flying With Swiss Air.

I flew with Swiss Air for the very first time last Friday, and it was without a doubt THE best short haul flight experience I have ever had. And it only cost me £112 return from London Heathrow to Geneva in Switzerland. It was just such a nice flying experience, so I thought I'd tell you all about why it was so great and why it was so different to the likes of BA, Easyjet, and even Virgin Atlantic's Trans-Atlantic service...

A Burger and Prosecco Afternoon Tea on the Kings Road.

I've had a fair few traditional afternoon teas over the years, but these days I avoid them unless they're fun and interesting. So when I heard about an afternoon tea in Chelsea that combined two of my favourite things; burgers and prosecco, I knew I had to try it! I informed my partner in crime and best friend of 21 years of the date and time, and she met me at BRGR.CO on the Kings Road for our epic feast!

Home House Summer Party 2016: Olympia to Rio.

Last Friday was the annual Home House Summer Party. It's basically one of the biggest parties of the year, and is always guaranteed to be epic. The theme this year was 'Olympia to Rio' to celebrate the Olympic Games next month, but I'm not very good at fancy dress unless I can go as a Pirate, so I went as a 'spectator'...aka...I wore normal clothes. It was only when we got inside I realized I could have worn my old karate kit. Anyway, the club was decked out in the most incredible decorations, and there were loads of performers in different themed rooms (including a drag queen and Brazilian dancers). Come and take a tour with me?

An Express Indian Street Food Lunch at Roti Chai.

So there's this place I've been going to regularly for the past coupla years, that I haven't told any of you about. It's in Marylebone just round the corner from my office, and it's so good I've been keeping it secret. But I thought it was time to share you can all experience the i n c r e d i b l e samosas and roti bread that make me go all weak at the knees. The Roti Chai Street Kitchen is hidden on a backstreet, and really needs to be shouted about.
