Best Places for a Girls Night Out in London.

Over the next few months I’m planning on doing a series of posts on the best places to go in London for various occasions, so this first one is on the Best Places to go for a Girls Night Out.
I know we all love our girls nights in watching movies and eating pizza (I did this just last week with my best friend and god-daughter!), but surely it’s so much more exciting going out dancing with the girls? So, to persuade you all to hit the town, I’ve rounded up my favourite places to go with the girls, some of which are a reminder that going for a night out doesn’t always have to be clubbing!

Archer Street

I was here on Friday night with the girls, it’s one of our favourite places to go. It looks classy and sophisticated, then in the evening turns into a haven of fun and chaos! You can dance like no one is watching, and no one cares, they join in. The staff party with you, dancing and singing on the tables, and one of the singers Portia Emare is absolutely incredible! Resident DJ Darren James is my favourite DJ, he’s an amazing dancer and so much fun, and I’m still trying to persuade him to be my gay best friend. Plus Archer Street is in Soho so nice and central!

The Collection

This is the place to go for a sophisticated girls night out eating good food and sipping on martinis. You enter through a blue lit up bridged corridor, and it looks and feels like a cross between a glamorous warehouse and an art gallery inside. The bar staff are really friendly, and the cocktails exceptionally good! The Collection is on Brompton Road so isn’t too far from central London, it’s a short walk from South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations.

Dukebox

Dukebox is an awesome club on the Fulham Road in Chelsea, it’s perfect for dancing the night away with the girls – you can swing around the podium on the dance floor, ride the fairground horse, and enjoy the cocktails. Make sure you get down there early though as it does get busy!

Gin & Jazz Night at The Intercontinental

If you feel like something a little less ‘clubby’ and more sophisticated and classy where you can actually talk to one another, I can’t recommend the Gin & Jazz Night at The Intercontinental enough! The girls and I did this last summer, and we had a great time! We got a special deal which included a free cocktail on arrival and a free platter of food, so you might be able to find one too. They hold the evenings twice a month, and you can enjoy their gin cocktails and a live jazz band whilst sitting among plush chairs in a five-star hotel. Lovely.

Karaoke Box

The work girls and I headed to Karaoke Box in Smithfield before Christmas, although there are also Karaoke Box’s in Soho and Mayfair too. We had so much fun that I’ve been recommending it to everyone ever since! You can hire a room so you don’t have to sing in front of crowds of strangers, and you choose all the songs. There’s also a bar and pizzas, which you can have in your room. We had cocktails and pizza delivered straight to the room we were in, which was awesome and the pizza was really tasty!
So there we go, my favourite places to go with the girls! I hope this helps if you want some new ideas or new places to check out! Let me know if you visit any of them and what you think.
