A Diamond Jubilee Concert at Royal Albert Hall.

So for me the Jubilee Weekend started on the Sunday, when myself, my family and some friends went into London for the Jubilee Singalong at the Royal Albert Hall. We decided to skip the River Pageant after seeing the weather forecast – it was forecasting heavy rain! After waiting an hour for a train that had space in it, we headed to Green Park for a picnic in the rain, with us ‘younguns’ laughing at our mothers in their silly hats.
After lunch we walked to the Royal Albert Hall where we participated in one of the funnest concerts ever! We sang songs such as ‘Hey Jude’ ‘Jerusalem’ ‘Dad’s Army’ ‘Shout’ ‘Crocodile Rock’ and ‘There will always be an England’ but to name a few.
My favourite was definitely Rule Britannia, as the entire audience erupted into song and proudly waved their flags – the atmosphere was electric, incredibly patriotic, and got me rather emotional!
The entire audience was a sea of red, white and blue, and the Royal Albert Hall was the perfect location for such a spectacle.

My mother and her friend getting into the Jubilee spirit! Yes, we laughed too.

Honestly? Yeh, I would do it too. Like mother like daughter.
