Adventure Bar [Blame Gloria], London.

Last night was Amy’s birthday, so we went to the place we had her epic birthday bash three years ago –  Adventure Bar. Right in the middle of Covent Garden, it’s a pretty awesome bar that plays classic tunes and serves up epic cocktails. Sadly they close at midnight, so we went to good ole Dirty Martini after, but I really wish they stayed open all night.
The night wasn’t quite as insane as last time, last time we were there it was the Olympics and the manager at the time was leaving to go travelling and we were there for his last shift. This time was much more subdued, but still lots of fun! By a funny coincidence I wore exactly the same dress as last time…awkward.
We had a sharing cocktail in a popcorn box, which came with handcuffs (random), I thought it was hilarious, until I realized who I was handcuffed to…
The birthday girl!

We were getting a bit hungry at this point so we got a couple of big sharing platters. Oh my gosh, the huge sweet potato wedges were so delicious!!
A birthday isn’t a birthday without cake! Sadly we didn’t have any candles though.

These two are just meant for each other…

You can’t go to Adventure Bar and not dance on the chairs and tables.
Towards the end Grease Lightening came on….so naturally I had to borrow Kiran’s leather jacket and channel my inner t-bird.

We had such an awesome night, if you need somewhere cheap and cheerful in central London, Adventure Bar is the place to go; awesome cocktails, food, and music!
