A VIP Night at Roof Gardens.

Last Saturday night the girls and I went along to Roof Gardens for a night out, and then James joined us a bit later on. Sam was also supposed to come, but the doormen didn’t like his blue suede shoes so he had to go home. Which is funny and quite ironic really, because one of the reasons we were there was because Roof Gardens messed up on my birthday in April and some of my friends couldn’t get in because the queue was so huge.

Anyway, so because Roof Gardens messed up so much on my birthday, they gave me complimentary entry and a VIP table last Saturday for myself and a few friends. Roof Gardens have been my favourite go-to club since I was 20 (it’s actually an over-21 club, but I used to sneak in with my friend who was a member).

I go on a regular basis, whether it’s a friends birthday or for one of their day-time events, so they were keen to get me back onside. I met the girls outside and we headed in, and then James joined us a little later. Now, as I was driving I could only have one glass of champagne, so I started with coca-cola, and then when James arrived I treated myself to my one glass of champers.

Despite Sam not being able to join us, we actually ended up have a really lovely night. The VIP room at Roof Gardens is great because it feels very much like a private bar, you can chat and the curtains mean you’re not shouting over the music at each other, yet you can still hear it enough to get up and dance if you want to. You also don’t have to queue up at the bar because you get your own waitress and bottle service. We did go onto the main dancefloor a coupla times as well, and I think my favourite part was when the Saxophonist came into our area and played for us!

Thank you to Roof Gardens for trying to fix things after my birthday disaster, it was greatly appreciated and I will be back again!

Looks like you had a great evening even if you could only have a glass of Champers. I love to go for cocktails or out partying on a Saturday night but this Saturday I'm thinking of having a quiet night in x

I looove the Roof Gardens, although it does get ridiculously busy there. They also messed up on my birthday, and all of my friends and I had an alternative night in Clapham instead (not quite what we were expecting, but fun all the same!). Looks like you made up for missing out the first time round and had a fantastic night 🙂

Ugh, it does get really busy, especially on the dancefloor – I hate how people push and shove so much! It is fun though!

Roof Gardens is hands down my favourite club in London. I went clubbing last night and I've now realised I'm too old for it 😉 but I'll still go to Roof Gardens cos I love the outdoor bit, it's very chilled out for a club.
    Lots of love,

I've heard so much about the Roof Gardens but never made the trip. Clearly I need to! Glad they redeemed themselves and shame they messed up on your bday though, I am sure they are glad to have you back on side 🙂 Lots of love, Andrea xxx
