Maggie’s Eighties Big Hair Party.

As you know already, I love my nights out, and have done for a few years now. I’d only been to Maggie’s once before, even though it’s right next door to VQ, which I used to frequent on a very regular basis at 3am. Last Thursday I went a second time, for the Maggie’s x MichaelJohn’s 80’s Big Hair party. Michael John are a local hair salon, so naturally they were the best people to turn our hair into the stuff the eighties were made of. Jemima also got an invite, so she invited her housemate Caroline and I dragged Edd along as he and Jemima are friends too.
We started with some delicious Ciroc vodka cocktails, before Jemima, Caroline, and I sat down to have our hair done while Edd watched, laughed, and took photos. I saw Jemima’s stylist get the crimpers out, and, absolutely terrified, I turned to mine and begged him ‘please please don’t use crimpers on me!’. He used curlers instead, and by the end I looked in the mirror and thought ‘oh my gosh, I look like Sandy from Grease…’

After some more cocktails we decided to try some of the mini-cupcakes made by LaDiDa Cupcakes, and then the party really started. Classic eighties tunes played while we danced away, we had such a fun night!

I seriously don’t know how Inception Group do it, every club and bar they own is freaking awesome. We always have such a good time at them all, I just love them! I really really need to test out their new club Beaver Lodge ASAP!

I was supposed to head down to this but was working late and didn't manage to in the end! Looks like it was a lot of fun though!

Retro parties are something worth trying. I`m going to arrange a party in a vintage style. Everything should be appropriate, I mean, clothes, make-up, hairstyles , music etc. It must be a wonderful party!

Yeah, I also do my hair for parties at hair salons too.But after hairstyling with hairdryer and different sprays my hair became dry. So now I always do hair masks at home to protect my hair.
