Since finding out about all of the toxic chemicals (parabens, petroleum, silicones, sulphates etc) in beauty products, I've been making a concious effort to only use natural products. Over the next few weeks I'll be doing reviews on the new products I've found which I've completely fallen in love with!
This first review is on the Burts Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream, which I bought from Feel Unique for the 50g handbag sized tube, although you can get the 90g tube from the Burt's Bees Shop on Amazon for just £8.99.
I use hand cream a lot, I lather it on at least a few times a day, as it prevents my nails from splitting by providing plenty of moisture and stopping them from drying out. So far this tube has lasted me aaages, and it's no where near the end of it yet. The cream itself is really really thick - a bit like hard butter - but spreads really well once on the skin and moisturises for hours. The tube is the part of this product I'm not so keen on, it isn't very easy to squeeze the cream out of, but the results are worth the extra effort!
Burts Bees are one of my favourite brands I've found this year, most of their products are 100% natural, with no parabens or silicones etc. I really do love their Shea Butter Hand Repair cream, and would recommend it to anyone with dry skin! It also smells absolutely lovely!
Keep an eye out for reviews on some of their other products over the next few weeks :)
