The Wave Stone.

A few months ago when at a physio session for my back I came across a very suspicious device called The Wave Stone. As I'm sure you can see, it looks really dodgy, and I was slightly scared when I saw it, but I promise it is for external use only! Now, this nifty little thing is pretty special for anyone who enjoys giving and receiving massages, for anyone with a muscular injury, and for anyone who, like me, has some pretty tough knots lodged in their shoulders. It really has made such a difference to my physio sessions, they're much less painful now (you can heat it up in less than a minute with hot tap water, so it feels amazing rather than excruciating), and it gets the knots out much quicker than someone's thumbs.

It's incredibly easy to use, can be used by both professionals and amateurs, and can be used hot or cold. As well as this it's ergonomic shape follows the contours of the body's muscles, and it's been a hit with celebrities, with Katie Price, Nick Chapman, Dan Magness amongst others using it. It's even been endorsed by the England Athletics Lead Physio!

Apologies for my awful blackberry photo, but this shows the ergonomic design and shape which is perfect for a little thing called 'Trigger Pointing' (pros will know what I'm on about).

I honestly think this massage tool is one of its kind and completely revolutionary compared to other massage tools, and everyone who suffers from muscle pains and injuries needs to get one in their life or ask their physio to get one. You can buy them here and there are different options available for if you want more than one and added extras.

Spread the word people - let's help get the world free from muscular pain!

  1. I get really knotty shoulders as well! Although this does look dodgy I'd be interested in trying it out! x

    1. Definitely try it, it's really good, and it comes with a CD that shows you how to use it :)

Or if you have a physio you could try persuading them to buy one so you don't have to pay for one and then they can do it for you as well ;) hehe

  3. So how do you use it exactly...? Do you use it on yourself or get someone to do it? Is it just for shoulders or anywhere? Sorry, finding it hard to get my head around it! My shoulders are killing me so I may need this in my life!

    1. I'm not sure how you use it on yourself, as I always get my physio to use it on me, but you can definitely use it yourself - if you buy one you get an info leaflet and a CD that shows you how to use it. You can also use it anywhere - my physio used it on my leg the other day as I've been having problems with my muscles in my calves.

Take a look at the website and it gives you a lot more info :)

  4. Haha, this looks so horrible! I have to say I might need to give this little naughtly looking thing a go though, because I've suffered with a stiff neck for aaaages and since it's inherited from my mum, its unlikely that itll ever go away. Boooo:( xx
