Happy Easter.

It's not often I speak about religion on here, but Easter I think is the time to do it. I'm Catholic, and think it's important to remember the real meaning of Easter. It's not just about the chocolate and the eggs, but about the resurrection of Jesus. The end of Lent, and the end of Holy Week. I have to admit I didn't go to the Maundy Thursday service, or the Easter Vigil last night, I only went to the Good Friday and Easter Sunday services *slaps wrist*, but I still think it's important to have a good balance and remember why we celebrate Easter. So after thinking about the real reason we celebrate this day...go gorge yourselves on as much chocolate as possible and have a blessed day!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him."
John 3:16-17

  1. Always nice to see other Catholics who are proud of who they are. Alleluia, He is risen. Have a blessed day

  2. Well said! I'm a Christian and although I've not been to church for donkeys years I still have my core beliefs. I made a little video from clips taken from The Passion of the Christ movie and a song by Hayley Westenra and uploaded it to Facebook to share with my friends. (I don't know if you can view it, but here's the link anyway - It saddened me by the lack of interest it received because it shows how many people just don't respect Easter for what it is. It's great to come across others who share the same spirit. Hope you're having a lovely Easter. :-)

    Kind regards
    Becky x
